Established in 2009, the Oak Orchard Neighborhood Association (OONA) is an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and supporting a sense of community and pride in the Oak Orchard/Lake Ontario region of Orleans County, NY. OONA provides resources for:
- special events that promote community involvement
- appreciation and respect for our environment
- education and safety
- sustaining small businesses year-round
- effective communication.
Friends of the Orleans County Marine Parks
Established in late 2023, Friends of Orleans County Marine Parks was created as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the auspices of the Oak Orchard Neighborhood Association. It’s sole purpose is to support improvements to the public lands controlled under the Office of the Orleans County and to support cultural activities such as the annual summer concert series.
